Queen’s Square Tree Lighting Ceremony

Join us in the heart of Downtown Cambridge as we kick off the holiday season with live music, festive lights, and plenty of cheer!

This year’s Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place in Queen’s Square and promises to be a memorable evening for the whole community.

Time: Gather at 6:30 PM


Tree Lighting: 7:00 PM sharp

Enjoy festive fun with sing-along carols, a choir, guest speakers, and the joyful chime of church bells. Be sure to grab a Beavertail and don’t miss the special return appearance by The Grump, our unofficial town crier for the evening!

Keep an eye out for The Grump as he tours downtown throughout the evening, spreading his own brand of holiday mischief and reminding everyone to shop local this season.

Local ambassadors will also be on-site distributing Downtown Shopping Directories, encouraging visitors to explore nearby shops, cafés, and restaurants while attending the event!
